Super Morning Smoothie

Did you know that your body absorbs most nutrients first thing in the morning? That’s another reason why the first meal you eat is so very important.

The surge of energy, feeling good and regulated appetite throughout the day after a super healthy, nourishing breakfast is not a placebo! So, without too much time in the morning, it is very easy to whip up a breakfast to tick all the boxes in the form of a super smoothie.

My Recipe:

  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 Handful of fresh greens – spinach/kale
  • 1 serving of vegan protein powder
  • 1 serving of Green Superblend powder
  • 1 serving of Maca powder
  • Extras: chia seeds, cinnamon, yogurt, fruits, oats

The real benefits of this smoothie lie within the superfood ingredients used;

Greens: Dark leafy greens are full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to protect your body from free radicals. Namely Vitamin K and Vitamin A as well as folate (important for pregnant ladies) and beta-carotene and lutein (reduce the risk of diseases caused by oxidative stress)
